Have you checked out former New Yorker EIC Tina Brown’s new venture, The Daily Beast? Love the Waugh reference here, but the site hasn’t grabbed me like I thought it would. (An interview with J-Lo? Yawn.) It’s in beta mode, though, so I’ll give it some time. I’m eager to see what Nigella Lawson will be adding; she’s supposedly on the masthead. For now, one unexpected highlight: Project Runway‘s Laura Bennett’s blog. I adored her post about bad mommies.
