Obama in British newspaper

This was my favorite front page of all the newspapers I’ve seen from around the world today. It’s just perfect.

I might admire nearly everything English, but the truth of the matter is that I love being an American. Today I can actually be proud of it. (And tomorrow, I promise, I’ll get back to waxing rhapsodic about the British. Today I’m just going to be a happy Yank.)

It’s a very happy day indeed. I too am proud to be an American again.

My wife and I plan to eventually move to England for a couple years, how Obama does in the next year will determine how quickly our plans move.

Yes, a great day indeed.

This is why I love the English: while other papers were extoling the historic nature of the election, The Sun’s front page featured a large photo of Obama kissing his wife with the superimposed headline, “THE EARTH MOVES – as Obama gets huge election”

Gotta wonder how long they sat around thinking that one up.
