My wife and her family don't seem to like it as much as I do, but it is really good (especially with hot custard) and I like the 'traditional' aspect of it, as well. On the other hand, I don't think I have ever knowingly eaten a piece of fruitcake. I do like the traditional aspect of it, however, and it wouldn't be Christmas without having one sitting--untouched--on the table. One of the best things about living here is Christmas Pudding.
